We Serve You… And Our Community

In addition to an unwavering patient commitment, Drs. John and Mechelle Hanna have a heart for community service and have volunteered hundreds of hours per year since first opening the doors of MFC in 1990.

The doctors are active in the Childrens’ Miracle Network, an organization dedicated to helping kids by raising funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America.  They are also strong supporters of the Charlotte Rescue Mission that assists the homeless.  Time, talent and financial assistance are further donated to the Miracle League (a foundation for mentally and physically challenged athletes), Samaritan’s feet and the Monroe Crisis Pregnancy Center.  Each year, MFC is the proud host of Kids Day America/International, an event where kids meet local town officials, community leaders and heroes from the police and fire department.  There they learn about health, safety and environmental awareness.

Drs. John and Mechelle live out their faithfulness to the Lord, not just in words but in actions, helping to transform lives on a daily basis.  Their willingness is rooted in Scripture: Romans 12:6-7: “God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well…If your gift is serving others, serve them well.”
